BRENTWOOD, TENNESSEE
Brentwood Tennessee is a sprawling suburb just south of Nashville. This city of 35,267 people has seen a huge growth spurt in the past 10 years more than doubling in population. The wonderful management of their long standing City Manager has focused the City on growth and advancement without losing the small town charm. The coveted Brentwood 2020 plan has won 3 National Awards for City-County Communications and Planning. These awards recognize outstanding achievement in citizen-government relations, citizen participation and proactive development. Brentwood is one of the wealthiest suburbs in the Southeast with essentially no poverty. It is considered to be one of the most desirable locations in Tennessee with its high standard of living, quality of public schools and huge array of parks and natural recreational opportunities. Williamson County Public Schools are tops in the state and is one of Brentwood´s best selling points. Many Country Music Stars have chosen Brentwood and its beautiful landscapes to call home.
Brentwood is certainly community driven with such events as Concerts in Crockett Park, Nashville Symphony outdoor performance, July 4th Celebration, Easter Egg Hunt at the Library and the longstanding tradition of the Christmas Luminaries. This year over 96,000 homes participated in the Christmas Luminaries-a time in which each person places a lighted luminary in front of their home to light the tree lined streets of the City. It truly is an amazing tradition that has grown over the years into a huge display! With plentiful shopping, an abundant amount of choices for worship and everything from condominiums to million dollar estates-Brentwood has something for everyone!
